Did you know that I collect enamel pins? You do now!
I have quite a lot of them, and I love them very much, so I decided to make an online catalog of them together with some info about where I got them from.
Since most of them are either bought in a gift shop or from an artist online I will do my best to separate the two.
Size of current collection: 72 pins
Holiday souvenirs 🚀
The one that started it all! It is on this holiday that I fell in love with pins and started collecting them.
Most of the pins from this holiday are from different national parks we visited. I will not go through them all since the names of the parks are written on the pins. Needless to say, all the parks were beautiful and there are several of them I want to go back to.
We also went sightseeing in different cities!
Special shoutout to Monterey her. They have an amazing aquarium that I would love to visit again. The whole stay there was very nostalgic since we also visited it once when I was a kid.
On our way to England, we drove through Germany and France and stayed a few nights in Amsterdam. The pin on the left is from the Van Gogh Museum.
The pins from England! The three first ones that aren't immediately obvious are from Jurassic Coast, Bath (the city) and The Eden Project in Cornwall.
During corona my family went on a road trip through Germany. Pins still weren't a big thing in Europe (especially not on the mainland), so I don't have a lot of pins from it. Below you can see a keychain from Berlin Zoo and pins from Neuschwanstein Castle and Residenz Würzburg.
The Neuschwanstein Castle is one of the amazing castles built by "the Fairy Tale King" aka. Ludwig II. On out trip we also visited Linderhof Palace (amazing place) which he also built.
The summer holiday 2022 we spent about two weeks in my parents’ apartment in Spain! It wasn’t my first time there, but it was a lot of fun even though we all ended up getting influenza, it was very hot (heatwave), and the entire arear almost burned down in a forest fire the day we left!
Let we start of by saying YES SOVENEAR VENDERS IN MAINLAND EUROPE HAVE FINALLY DISCOVERED THAT 👏 THE 👏 PEOPLE 👏 WANT 👏 PINS 👏
These are the pins I ended up collecting on our trip:
The first three are from nature parks (the gout without text is from the dripstone caves in Nerja), the next three are from some of the cities we visited and the last one just represents Spain as a hole (I bought it in Marbella).
A few places that I wish I could have gotten pins from is Mijas (It’s just a really nice city. I think I have been there every time I have been to Spain), the bird show at Teleferico Benalmadena, and the butterfly park, Mariposario de Benalmádena.
Our trip to Italy! It is far from my first time in Italy, but it has been years since I was there last, so I am pleased to see so many pins (though most of them were not bought in official souvenir shops).
Our trip started of in Rome (and the Vatican) with all the must-see attractions (the Colosseum, Trevi fountain, Sant’Angelo, Pantheon, and Forum Romanum). Then we moved on to Cinque Terre where the fourth pin is from. Then we spent one day in Pisa before moving on to Siena (they have the most beautiful church I have ever seen omg). Lastly our trip ended in Florence where we saw Michelangelo’s David and The Birth of Venus!
In 2024 I decided to travel on my own for the very first time! It ended up being a lovely short trip through Norway by train. I stopped in Oslo, Lillehammer, Dombås, and Åndalsnes. The pins below are from Lillehammer and Åndalsnes.
Here are some pins from other random placed I have visited!
← From the Copenhagen zoo (bought in 2024). I saw their sloth for the first time so I had to get the sloth pin!
← From The Copenhagen Zoological Museum. Bought in 2022 right before they closed for merging with the Natural History Museum in 2025. The museum was just a collection of weird things and very old derpy looking taxidermized animals.
← From the Danish art museum Ordrupgaard.
← From when we visited Japan in 2016! That is before I started collecting pins. We went to see the Ghibli museum - quite the magical place - and I wanted a souvenir, so I ended up buying this one.
Pins from artist 🛸
A lot of these are bought online. I'm have added links to the images where I could find them!
Special shoutout to the artist Gawki. I preordered these beautiful pins from their 'Mushroom Trove' collection.
Another special shoutout, this time to Corviday, who is an amazing artist and have lots of beautiful pins on there web shop. I'm can't wait to get more once I have the money.
My parents bought these for me while they were in USA. They came with a card to this website.
I bought these two from Flying Tiger about a billion years ago before I started my collection. They aren’t good quality, but I appreciate them anyway.
